ladies proposing to men right or wrong?

Sometime ago in a reality show a lady proposed to a man & just a few hours ago a lady proposed to her lover.

Now, the big question is 'is it right for a lady to propose to a man?' Some believe its not wrong because we are now in the 21st century.
